About Camellia

My experience developing review sessions and explaining reaction mechanisms and synthesis problems helps me make complex material more approachable. My lessons are geared toward undergraduate organic chemistry students seeking help with coursework, exam preparation, or strengthening their foundations. I prioritize understanding material over memorization of answers so students can apply the concepts and problem-solving techniques they've learned to future test questions.

About the lesson

I hold a master’s degree in Neurobiology and have led over 100 review sessions for undergraduate Organic Chemistry A and B. In my lesson plans, I tend to focus on breaking down challenging concepts into manageable steps and helping students understand the reasoning behind an answer, rather than simply memorizing it.
A typical online lesson would start with identifying the concepts or questions you’re struggling with. We then review the relevant material, work through practice problems together, and finish with an opportunity for you to explain your reasoning and ask questions!
