About Connor
I hold a Master’s degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, where I graduated with distinction. During my studies, I co-founded the university’s largest technical society and served as the electronics lead for the Rocket Society. I also published research on smart meter electronics design. Professionally, I’ve contributed to the development of smartwatches, working across both hardware and software. Why I teach: Teaching allows me to share the passion I have for electronics while helping others overcome the same challenges I once faced. I know how overwhelming the subject can feel at times, and I genuinely enjoy breaking it down in ways that are clear, practical, and engaging. Tutoring gives me a chance to stay connected to the field, support learners at all levels, and make technical topics accessible and even enjoyable.

Hi! I'm a qualified electronics and electrical engineer with a Master's degree and over two years of industry and research experience. I’ve worked in both academic and professional settings, and now I help students build confidence and clarity in electronics — whether you’re a complete beginner or working through a degree. My Personalised Teaching Approach: No two students learn the same way, and that’s why I tailor every session to you. If you're visual, I’ll use diagrams, simulations, or interactive tools. If you're analytical, we’ll break down equations and solve step-by-step. If you're hands-on, I’ll show you real-world applications and guide you through practical examples. Before we start, I’ll take time to understand your goals, your learning style, and where you feel stuck. Then we’ll build a lesson plan that fits your pace — whether you want help with coursework, exam prep, or just to finally get how circuits work. You won’t get generic lessons — you’ll get teaching that makes sense to you.
