About Brian

I studied linguistics in USA for 5 years (I took more linguistics classes than most students) at University of Michigan - Dearborn near Detroit, Michigan. There I also worked as a research assistant in the linguistics department as well as a teaching assistant/tutor for German and The History of the English Language courses. Afterwards, I moved to Sweden for 2.5 years to get a masters in linguistics.

About the lesson

It's hard to describe the lessons until I've met you one to be able to see what kind of help you need. I have a masters in linguistics so if I know what your first language is, I may be able to determine the ways in which your language differs from English and how we can make sure your lessons focus on those problem places where your first language might be affecting your understanding of English.
