About Kira
I am currently in a Masters in Mathematics program at the University of Guelph, and I have tutored for the past few years in various subjects. I have experience teaching students from Kindergarten to University students in math. I hope to further continue my studies in mathematics, and eventually hope to teach the subject, as I love being able to help students.

My teaching methods revolve around making sure the student understands the concepts, not just the computation. A typical lesson plan would have the student send me the topics beforehand, and we can go over the general ideas and questions they might have. We will then work through practice questions together, while I ask questions to make sure the student understands the steps they are doing. I am comfortable teaching any level of math.
