About Vicki
I'm an empty nester mother of 3. I've always enjoyed math and working with people to help them better understand concepts. I'm patient but precise & I try to stress that math is a second language and we will learn to speak it during out sessions :)

I stress student involvement in my lessons & presenting one topic at a time. My presentations are a series of single concept pages where I present the concept, I work a few problems then I letting the students work problems with my guidance. Once they are comfortable we move on to the next concept. For many struggling students this process is done repeatedly for the same concept. It takes time for difficult topics to really 2ed nature.
My lessons are typically created for the student who knows little about the subject. This makes it easy to present to both the student who is learning the concept as well as those who just need a review and can skim through to obtain the knowledge they need.
