About Benetee

Performing music confidently starts with strong foundations and guided learning. With Master’s degrees in Music, I help students develop both technical skill and expressive ability on the guitar. Lessons begin with posture, finger placement, chord transitions, rhythm, strumming, and tone, gradually introducing improvisation, phrasing, and composition. Music theory is taught practically and applied to real songs, making concepts easy to understand. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s pace, goals, and musical interests, fostering growth and confidence. I emphasise both skill development and expressive playing, helping students communicate emotion through their music.

Ear training, sight-reading, and performance preparation are included to build well-rounded musicianship. Students explore multiple genres, including classical, jazz, rock, blues, and pop, expanding their musical versatility. Structured practice routines, feedback, and guidance help students overcome technical challenges. I celebrate milestones to maintain motivation and recognise achievements. I encourage creativity, composition, and improvisation to help students find their unique musical voice. Lessons balance structure, discipline, and artistic freedom for an engaging experience. Over time, learners gain technical proficiency, confidence, and performance readiness. Teaching guitar is a combination of mentorship, instruction, and inspiration. My goal is to help students express themselves authentically and creatively through their instrument. Every session is an opportunity to nurture skill, artistry, and lifelong musicianship.

About the lesson

As a dedicated guitar instructor with both Master’s degrees in Music, I bring a balance of academic knowledge and real-world experience to my lessons. My goal is to make learning the guitar both accessible and inspiring for every student. I’ve worked with beginners, hobbyists, and advanced players, helping each one reach new milestones at their own pace. My teaching style is interactive and engaging, focusing on both technique and creativity. I encourage students to explore a wide range of genres—from classical and blues to pop and jazz. Beyond playing, I emphasise understanding the theory and emotion behind the music. I believe true musicianship is built on curiosity, patience, and consistency. I use step-by-step instruction, personalised exercises, and feedback-based progress tracking to ensure steady improvement. My lessons are structured but never rigid—each session adapts to your goals and comfort level.

Over the 12 years, I’ve witnessed the incredible transformation of students becoming confident, expressive players. Teaching guitar is not just about building skill; it’s about building character, discipline, and self-expression.
