About Alaynah
I am an experienced tutor with over six years of teaching experience, alongside my career as an optometrist. I began tutoring while studying for my A-levels and went on to become a Lead English Tutor before continuing as a private tutor. I have always had a passion for teaching.

I have over six years of tutoring experience, beginning while I was studying for my A-levels. I worked as a Lead English Tutor at a tuition centre for two years before moving into private tutoring, which I have continued for the past four years. Now working as an optometrist, I have a strong scientific and academic background and understand the importance of making complex topics clear and accessible. My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, focusing on building confidence, strengthening understanding and helping students reach their full potential.

I highly recommend Alaynah as a tutor! She helped me with English and GCSE Triple Science, and I ended up with a 9 in Biology, 8 in Chemistry, 7 in Physics, and 8s in English from my grade 6’s. Alaynah is amazing at explaining things in a way that makes sense. She’s super patient and always has great tips and tricks. :)
Alaynah is an amazing teacher who has always supported me and has helped me massively In Literature. My grade improved by 2 grades!
