About Halima
I am a student studying Clinical Psychology with a focus on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This form of therapy helps you to take control of factors in your life you thought were out of your control. There is emphasis on acceptance too. I am highly empathetic, and have worked in addiction and other psychological treatments for 3 years. I am kind, enthusiastic and patient. There is no rush with me :).

I would like to work with anyone who is interested in learning about how to manage stress, and utilize all the tools available to them to live a fulfilled and happy life. I focus on the biology of stress and evidence-based methods to manage it. My lessons are structured, but flexible depending on the specific targets of my learners. I enjoy conversational approaches to learning, and encourage interaction as much as possible.
