About Jacob
I am a current student teacher with experience studying both in a collegiate biology setting as well as in a lab-based research setting. I am a graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and am currently finishing my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Biology education.

I base my lessons on the Next Generation Science Standards as well as my own practical experience working in a hands-on fashion with the content material. I often will adapt real-world scenarios and examples into lesson content and will work to incorporate student interests into the lessons to make an engaging and fun lesson. I also have experience using the Storyline method of science education and am accustomed to incorporating multiple subjects in biology and content fields into a unit of lessons.

Details
There is no fee for cancelling a lesson up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. I will do everything possible to provide free materials but any materials with a cost attached to them will be left to the student to purchase and provide. College prep and college level tutoring can be provided but will be an increased fee of $35 due to the more intensive course load.
