About Shakeerah
Hello, my name is Shakeerah. I teach Mathematics in primary and Junior high School level. I am passionate about teaching and have been in the education field for over 15 years. My goal as a teacher is to inspire and empower my students to reach their full potential and become lifelong learners. I believe that education is the key to unlocking opportunities and achieving success, and I am committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for all of my students.
Furthermore, teaching allows me to continue learning and growing as well. Every day presents new challenges and opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills, which helps me to become a better educator and a better person.

I make effort to understand the student's needs before the beginning of the sessions in order to understand their strengths, weaknesses, and learning style.
After which I develop a plan with specific learning objectives, a timeline, and assessment measures to track their progress.
Furthermore, I build a positive and supportive relationship with my students as the key to creating a successful learning environment.
I am very patient, encouraging, and empathetic towards my students.
I use interactive teaching methods such as hands-on activities, discussions, and games, to make learning more enjoyable and memorable.
Additionally, I provide regular feedback to assess progress, adjust teaching approach, and provide positive reinforcement for my student's efforts.
Last but not the least, the goal of every tutor is to help his/her students become independent learners in order to take ownership of their learning and develop good study habits, such as setting goals, organizing their time, and seeking help when needed.
