About Quinn

I am a passionate and experienced singing tutor with a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance and over six years of teaching experience. My journey as a vocalist began at an early age and has taken me through a wide range of styles, stages, and educational settings. Teaching has become one of the most fulfilling aspects of my musical career, allowing me to guide others as they explore and strengthen their voices. Over the years, I’ve worked with students of all ages and experience levels—from complete beginners who are just discovering their vocal range to advanced singers preparing for auditions, exams, or stage performances. I pride myself on creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment where students can feel safe taking risks and trying new techniques. Every voice is unique, and my approach is always tailored to highlight and enhance each student’s natural strengths. My own training has included intensive studies in vocal technique, music theory, stage performance, and repertoire across multiple genres. I continue to stay active in the vocal community through ongoing learning and occasional performing, which allows me to bring fresh, real-world perspective into each lesson. I also keep up with current vocal pedagogy and vocal health practices to ensure that students are developing their voices safely and effectively. What inspires me most as a tutor is seeing students grow—not only as singers but as confident, expressive individuals. Whether someone is preparing for the spotlight or simply wants to sing for personal fulfillment, I consider it a privilege to be part of that journey. I am committed to helping every student uncover their voice, tell their story through music, and enjoy the process along the way.

About the lesson

My singing lessons are designed to support vocal development in a personalized and encouraging way, whether you're just beginning your vocal journey or seeking to refine advanced skills. I aim to create a welcoming environment where students can explore their voice confidently, understand their unique sound, and grow technically and artistically. Each lesson is structured to balance technique with creativity, ensuring consistent progress and genuine enjoyment.

For beginners, we start with foundational elements such as breath support, posture, pitch matching, and vocal warm-ups. I focus on building healthy habits early, helping students sing with ease and without strain. As we progress, we introduce vocal exercises that improve range, tone quality, and control while applying these techniques to songs the student enjoys.

Intermediate and advanced students work on deeper aspects of vocal performance, such as resonance, dynamics, phrasing, and stylistic interpretation. We cover a wide range of genres—from classical and musical theatre to pop and contemporary styles—based on the student’s goals and interests. I also include musicianship skills like ear training, rhythm awareness, and sight-singing when appropriate.

With a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance and six years of teaching experience, I bring both formal training and practical insight to every session. I’m committed to helping each student discover the full potential of their voice while developing confidence, musicality, and joy in singing. Whether you're preparing for auditions, performances, or singing just for fun, I provide guidance that supports your growth every step of the way.
