About Rania
My name is Rania, and I am a reliable, patient, and committed math tutor who is passionate about helping students feel confident and capable in mathematics. I understand that math can be challenging for many students, especially in the early years, and I aim to create a calm and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. As a current VCE student, I have a strong and up-to-date understanding of the curriculum and the expectations placed on students in today’s classrooms. This allows me to explain concepts in clear, relatable ways and support students with their schoolwork, homework, and assessments. I take my role as a tutor seriously and always come prepared to lessons with structured plans tailored to each student’s needs. I am organized, punctual, and respectful, and I work closely with students to help them improve their understanding, build strong foundations, and develop confidence in their abilities. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them develop a positive attitude towards learning and math as a whole.

My name is Rania, and my approach to tutoring is supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual learning needs. I focus on building strong foundations, improving confidence, and helping students truly understand concepts rather than just memorising steps.
I teach by breaking down topics into simple, easy-to-follow explanations and using worked examples before guiding students through practice questions. I encourage students to ask questions and work through problems with me, so they feel comfortable and engaged during lessons. I also adapt my teaching style depending on whether a student needs more visual explanations, step-by-step guidance, or extra practice.
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, allowing enough time to revise key concepts, practise questions, and address any difficulties from schoolwork or homework. Shorter or longer sessions can be adjusted if needed.
I am a current VCE student with a strong understanding of the primary and lower secondary maths curriculum. I have experience explaining maths concepts and science clearly and patiently, especially to younger students, and I understand the challenges students face at school today.
My lessons are suitable for Primary to Year 8 students, including those who need help catching up, building confidence, or strengthening their skills to stay ahead in class.
