About Disni
A proactive lecturer with a Masters in Software Engineering and with an experience over 5 years of teaching undergraduate university students. I was able to make students love the subject, and build confidence in themselves to move forward. Furthermore, I love to engage with the students in a friendly manner by making them comfortable learning the subject matter. Normally the students get attracted to interesting methods to grasp knowledge and its practical applications. Most importantly, students will be continuously assessed for their level of understanding and evaluate their capabilities to go to the next level.

My teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves using real-world examples whenever possible. I start with topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually toward more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check how the students have understood the lessons that are covered during the session. Without directly feeding the students with theory related to the subject matter, I try to connect the theory with the practical side and how such theory be used to resolve day-to-day problems. I believe this approach is ideal for middle school to high school students to learn complex areas of Maths and computer programming.
