I am qualified to teach English (first and second language up to twelfth grade), Math (Arithmetic, Geometry, Algebra, Basic Trig - up to 10th grade).
I teach using methods that best suits the student, the student strengths and build new skills. I use explanation, videos and questioning to asses where student is not understanding. Students have asked me to be their teacher because they have understood math for the first time, others have been ecstatic because they learned to read for the first time. I love to teach and do not care how many times a student asks questions. I love to motivate students to be the best they can be.
I have been a public school full time teacher for 7 years. I have taught students online from all over the USA for 5 years. I have taught hundreds of students for many years. Most students I have taught explain that they never understood math before but now excel in math and some have even become teachers. Many students who have not been able to read, learn to read for the first time under my tutoring. Other students state that they hated literature but now they love reading, language arts and understand literature much better. Some have even become poets and writers as a result of my tutoring, motivating and guiding them. My own writing has been published on several occasions in news papers and magazines.
