My teaching method targets the root cause of learning struggles: low cognitive skills. A student could have great logic, but poor memory, or great memory and poor logic. Math skills deal with memory and logic and reasoning skills, and reading deals with auditory processing and visualization. Activities, I like to call them "games", keep the student interested and engaged the entire session while working on those specific cognitive skills.
