About Lou
I have a Ph.D. in physics and taught at several different colleges. I redesigned the classroom to enhance student learning. I am fully dedicated to student success and will show you a clear pathway forward.
I believe that math and physics are essential to understand our world and what happens every day. I am always relating concepts to daily experiences.
Learning should be fun and interesting....but there will always be a bit of "work" involved. I always try to keep things in balance.

I am a patient and experienced instructor. Lessons start out with a careful look at the concepts and we make certain that the concepts are well understood. Practical, real world examples help to put the concepts into context. Then, we start to get "in shape" to work the problems. Reflecting back to the concepts and understanding the pathway to the solution is important.
When I taught physics at the university, my students always performed better than the other students. It is important that concepts and problem solving are linked.
My tutoring can be used to help pass a high school or college class with a higher grade, or to prepare a student for standardized tests and exams.
