About Daniel
I recently graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Science in Math and Physics. I am currently a graduate student at the University of Calgary studying medical physics which is the field of cancer treatment and medical imaging such as MRIs or CaT scans. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Science with a plan to extend to a PhD.
Other than the science side of myself, I love the outdoors, soccer, hiking, camping, and going to the gym. I've also played guitar for 14 years and very much love my coffee in the morning.
Locations: I unfortunately do not own a vehicle, so if an in person lesson is requested (as opposed to virtual) then it will need to be close to University District. I am able to bus to location, but am limited with timing constraints.

We can go over any material the student or parent would like. This includes past tests, homework, study guides, etc. If there is something that was either not explained well or perhaps confusing for the student, I typically like to follow up with a typed our PDF sent to the parent that explains the problem or topic in a more clear manor just so that nothing is left out for the student.
My teaching method is attempting to relate a problem in a way that decomposes it into clear steps. I also like going over each and every step every time a new step is created ( i.e. step one goes to step 2 which is related to step one, then step 3 which is related to step 2 which is related to step 1, and so on). This technique has greatly aided me in following my own train of thought and finding problems a lot simpler.
COVID-19
If it is more comfortable for you to have masks on during the lesson, I am more than happy to accommodate this request. They are not mandatory but will be up to your discretion.ir
