Hi! I’m a Biomedical Engineering graduate from the University of Waterloo, currently pursuing a Master’s at École Polytechnique. I have several years of experience tutoring math and science, with 10+ students ranging from younger students to university level. I’m patient, friendly, and like to make challenging concepts feel simple while helping students build confidence and strong study habits.

My approach as a tutor is centered on clarity, structure, and confidence-building. As a former engineering student at the University of Waterloo, I focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than rely on memorization. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning pace and goals, ensuring lessons are both effective and encouraging.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of prior material, followed by a clear explanation of new concepts using step-by-step problem solving. I incorporate guided practice, where we work through examples together, and independent practice, where students apply what they’ve learned with my support. Lessons conclude with a summary of key ideas and strategies students can use independently.
