About Kimberly
I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology, concentrating in Neurobiology, from the University of Vermont. I was previously certified as a middle and high school Biology teacher in Massachusetts but preferred tutoring to classroom teaching. I now have 10 years of experience as a math tutor and 5 years as a science tutor.

My teaching method changes based on the student. I like to chat with my tutees before our first lesson to determine what type of learning technique they respond best to so I can provide them with visual aids, notes, practice problems or tests at the start of each lesson. Online tutoring can be very difficult for the student which is why a lesson plan geared toward each student's style has to be prepared prior to meeting. I like students to message me the specific material they need help with before each session so I can properly prepare.
