About Sandy
I am a biomedical engineering graduate with 10+ years experience in tutoring and teaching. I've Tutored in various after school programs including but not limited to the National Honors Society of tutors, Kumon, and abroad programs such as Schülerhilfe. I've also provides private tutoring online as well as in person to all ages, including university students, in Math, sciences, English, German, and other niche subjects. I have also taught in various engineering and English language disciplines at the university as an assistant professor. I have 3 younger sisters and absolutely love working with kids! I have a lot of patience and understand that each student has a unique and individual approach to learning and it is my aim to make sure that my teaching methods allign with that. My lessons are frequently structured around the niche subjects being currently tackledin school and university. I gather all the relevant information from the student about what is being discussed, what gas already been assessed, what will be assessed in the future, and work with them to understand exactly where their weaknesses or difficulties are. My lessons are interactive and questions are frequent, because I don't believe learning should be a passive action. My priority is to orient myself around the student to ensure positive results and visible improvement.
