About Vincent
24 years of statistical modelling and database marketing experience for Chase Manhattan, Capital One, and the Treasury of New Zealand.
Masters Degree in Statistics from Penn State University.
Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics from Juniata College.
I was a teaching assistant at Penn State where I tutored undergraduate students and was lecturer for a 200 level Statistics course.
Throughout my career I have had to explain mathematical concepts to fellow students, co-workers, managers, and company executives.

With all my explanations of math and statistics, I strive to equip my students with a conceptual understanding of the type of model or equation being used. I like to get people to see the equations and numbers in a visual way. Lots of pictures! Once someone gets that foundational understanding, the rest becomes so much easier.
