In 2013, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Psychology (dual major), from Baruch College, CUNY. I also spent a few years in Brain Science investigating fields of learning, motivation and decision making. I believe math can be a beautiful and open minding subject if it's presented in that way. In my practice, I combine knowledge of mathematics, psychology and academical research to create an individually based thriving environment. The lessons are appropriated to the level of understanding and learning approach of a student. I try to make the subject fun and simple by diluting abstract concepts with real world examples. I enjoy teaching all levels. I work with students who just wish to improve their performance and also those who would like to take their math skills to a new level.
Throughout my time in college I tutored my peers in algebra, trigonometry, geometry, precalculus and higher levels to increase student's performance on tests and quizzes. After graduating I obtained a job in IT and continued teaching math as a side project and a hobby I really enjoyed. Additionally I taught SAT math, reading, writing, and test taking techniques to a group of high school students. Initial results of students' SAT scores increased on average by 95% after one academic year of tutoring.
