About ROBERT
My father was Head of the U.S. Naval Academy Engineering Department, got the Academy its very first computer, and created the USNA Majors program. (FYI, I went to the Naval Academy as an Engineering major and studied Math through Calculus III.) Then for his last 18 career years he was Lead Professor of the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs of the University of Pittsburgh. Very simply stated, I possess his DNA. Via my MATH CHALLENGE approach, I have enabled students in seven local Washington area school districts (roughly 5,000 students; 180 schools) to be all they can be. I absolutely have uncovered the Secret to inspiring students to aggressively pursue their inherent talents via their newly discovered Math capabilities. I look forward to an interview so I can demonstrate what I am saying here.

As a Substitute Teacher in five Washington DC area school districts over a six year period -- roughly 5,000 students in 180 schools, to discover their Math talents via my MATH CHALLENGE classroom competition. After that, the students are so psyched that they literally can't get enough challenges. A student who has suddenly discovered that he/she REALLY IS, per my opening MATH CHALLENGE competition words, "you are three times smarter than you think you are, three times more capable than you think you are, and YOUR GAME is three times BETTER than you think." After as little as 15 minutes of my follow-on competition, as a former student once said to me, "Mister B, your class runs itself."
