About Shradha
I am a Mathematics Educator with over 25 years of teaching experience across CBSE, ICSE, GCSE, IGCSE, IB, USA, Cambridge, KS3, and SAT Math curricula. I hold a Ph.D. in Education, an M.Sc. in Mathematics, and an M.Ed. (Gold Medal) and an achiever of the "Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship ". I currently serve as a PGT Mathematics teacher and Head of the Mathematics Department at a reputed school. My experience includes classroom teaching, curriculum design, academic mentoring, and the development of learner-centered teaching practices to meet diverse student needs.
Years of working closely with students have given me deep insight into their psychology, learning patterns, fears, challenges, and individual differences — especially the anxiety often associated with Mathematics, a subject that plays an important role in academic success and future career opportunities. These experiences have strengthened my belief that meaningful teaching begins with understanding the learner first.
My approach to teaching Mathematics is built on three important pillars — Relevance, Relationship, and Rigor.
I believe students learn Mathematics best when they understand its relevance to real-life situations and are able to connect concepts with meaningful application. Equally important is the relationship between teacher and student. A positive, encouraging, and comfortable learning environment helps students ask questions freely, overcome hesitation, and gradually build confidence in their abilities.
At the same time, I strongly believe that confidence and fluency in Mathematics develop through rigor — consistent practice, guided problem-solving, and structured learning that gradually develops accuracy, speed, conceptual clarity, and independent thinking.
What Sets Me Apart: My diverse academic achievements and teaching experience enable me to adapt to varied learning styles and curricula, providing personalized instruction tailored to each student's unique needs, ensuring that every student feels supported, involved, and capable of succeeding.
For me, teaching is not about giving answers quickly; it is about helping students develop clarity, curiosity, confidence, and the ability to think independently.

My classes are designed to make Mathematics meaningful, engaging, and fear-free. Emphasis is laid on :
* Concept-based teaching focused on understanding rather than rote learning
*Real-life applications to make Mathematics meaningful and relatable
*Interactive and engaging sessions using discussions, visuals, activities, and hands-on learning
*Personalized guidance based on each student’s learning style, pace, and individual learning gaps
*Special focus on removing the fear of Mathematics and building confidence
*Strong emphasis on fundamentals, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
*Regular practice, doubt-solving, and strategic exam preparation
*Supportive and student-friendly environment that encourages curiosity and active participation
Teaching Approach: Begins with a clear explanation of the mathematical concept. Develops strategies to decode and approach questions effectively. Demonstrate a step-by-step process to solve the problems. Independent Practice: After the session, students attempt similar problems independently. This helps reinforce the concept and build confidence. Personalized Feedback: I review students’ homework to review errors and improve techniques if needed.
Above all, my classes aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, think independently, and genuinely enjoy learning Mathematics.
If you are looking for a teacher who combines experience, patience, conceptual teaching, and personalized attention, I would be happy to guide you on your learning journey.
