About Chris
I’m Chris, a Math and Computer Science student at NYU. Over the past two years, I’ve worked one-on-one with high-school students—both through NYU’s peer-tutoring program and in private sessions—helping them master Geometry, Algebra I & II, Precalculus, AP Calculus, and Linear Algebra. My own experience in rigorous coursework and hands-on research means I can break down challenging topics and adapt every explanation to a student’s individual needs. My lessons focus on building deep, intuitive understanding rather than rote calculation. By illustrating how each formula and proof connects to real-world problems—whether that’s modeling data with basic machine-learning techniques or visualizing networks in code—I keep sessions engaging and relevant. Professionalism and reliability are paramount: I arrive prepared, respect your time, and maintain clear communication about scheduling and progress. If you’re ready to strengthen your mathematical intuition and see how these skills apply beyond the classroom, I’m here to help you succeed.

My Style:
I adapt each session to your needs, blending Socratic questioning, visual concept mapping, and engaging mini-projects. Whether we’re exploring geometric proofs or debugging Python code, I guide students to discover concepts actively and solidify understanding through hands-on application.
What Sets Me Apart:
I motivate learners by tying every topic—from Geometry and Algebra to basic Machine Learning and mathematical modeling—to real-world problems. My practical examples and personalized projects ensure students see the relevance of math and programming, boosting confidence and retention.
Who the Lessons Are For:
High-school students (grades 9–12) studying Geometry, Algebra I & II, Precalculus, AP Calculus, Linear Algebra, introductory programming, basic ML, or applied math modeling.
