About Angelica
I graduated at the top of my class as an elementary teacher, and was crafting vastly improved curriculums when my fellow students were following typical instruction plans. I've been the local free tutor wherever I live for 20 years now, and it still feels like playing to me.

I can help any ability level or personality age 7 to 100 re/learn any basics (through grade 12) in health, music, math, english, science and history. Drilling doesn't work, that's just not how we learn. There's no such thing as perfect instructions, and we need to learn how to figure things out rather than be told what to think. So, every lesson is custom tailored to your current mindset, by a teacher who shares their understanding using yours. A typical lesson plan involves an interactive presentation that will always include interesting tidbits "no one" has heard before, followed by a practical assignment that allows you to use your new skill in your regular life. If rote practice really is called for, art will be used to make it more fun :)
