About Lana
In my tutoring, I try my hardest to ensure students feel as confident in their own reasoning as I am in mine. The goal isn't just for them to harness their reasoning in future courses and classes, but to apply these concepts to their academic careers and learn how to prepare to be able to solve complex equations on their own. I've been lucky enough to experience tutoring throughout middle and elementary school, and I still see the impact that my tutors had on me in my everyday life and learning. I hope to be able to provide that kind of comfort and knowledge for all my students!

As a high school senior, I've seen how the lack of individual attention in a classroom setting can impact learning firsthand. This isn't the fault of our teachers, but it can be incredibly difficult for kids to learn new topics when they aren't given a personalized curriculum with learning and study strategies catered to their needs. Beginning in my Sophomore year, I began tutoring in person before I began offering online services as well, working with over 20 clients.
