I am a graduate student studying pure mathematics at the NYU Courant Institute. I earned my Bachelor's degree in mathematics and computer science at Tulane University. I have been tutoring math for over 4 years. While at NYU, I have taught both Calculus I and Linear Algebra to undergraduates. I have 5 stars on RateMyProfessors based on these roles.

I am available as a tutor for most high school and undergraduate math classes, in person within Manhattan or virtually. I have experience working with students at all levels of competency, from college math majors to struggling students.
During my undergraduate degree at Tulane, where I double majored in math and computer science, I took classes on trauma-informed education. This has become especially useful post-pandemic. My approach to tutoring is informed by the idea that many students lost precious years of development, in terms of math skills and beyond, during COVID lockdowns. I assess not only the areas where students need help with their current curriculum, but any prerequisite skills that are lacking so that we can build a better foundation.
I am also very familiar with the unique approach that is required for teaching neurodivergent students. I take a collaborative approach and work to incorporate a variety of different methods into sessions to foster engagement.
