Sometimes it's hard to process what is being taught at the straightforward pace in the classroom. Many times I have had the opinion that I just needed some 1 on 1 support to make sure you understand the concepts before moving on to the next level or operation. This is common, and it is sometimes beneficial when you don't totally understand what is being taught or how it happens. We will work together to help you understand and develop the skills needed to move to the next level in the progression of your math classes. 1. We will break each operation down into the step-by-step process to accomplish the task. 2. If needed we will review the concepts and operation it takes to complete the task at hand. 3. We will not move on until we have a mastery level agreed to by the student or parents. (my preference is a 75% mastery level). 4. I will try to build office hours in to accommodate your schedules if possible.
