About Syd

Hi! I just graduated high school with a 4.5 GPA and I'm heading to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology to study engineering. I've always been really passionate about math—I’ve self-studied a lot and even completed three online math classes on my own. I know firsthand how challenging that can be, especially without the right support. That’s actually why I started tutoring: I want to be the kind of help I never had. People often say I’m good at breaking things down and going back to the basics. I don’t just show you how to solve a problem—I help you understand the foundation so it all makes sense. I’ve worked with students at different levels, and I really enjoy helping people gain confidence in math and reach their goals.

About the lesson

Hi! I’m Sydney, and I’ve been tutoring math since 8th grade. I know how frustrating math can feel—but I’ve been where you are, and I know how to break it down in ways that actually make sense.

I work with students from Pre-K all the way through Calculus, and I tailor each session to match your learning style. Whether you’re brushing up on basics, getting ready for an exam, or just trying to pass that one tough class, I’m here to help.

I also support students with college prep, including building the Common App and writing a meaningful essay.

I offer flexible online sessions, so we can work around your schedule, wherever you are. Let’s take the stress out of math and get you where you want to be.
