About Ritik
Hi! My name is Ritik, and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, which gives me a strong foundation in problem-solving and logical thinking that I bring into every math lesson. I believe learning should be practical, engaging, and never intimidating — my goal is to help students build genuine confidence with numbers, not just memorize formulas. I also volunteer part-time as a trainer for an NGO, because I believe education should be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford it. This experience has taught me patience and how to explain complex ideas simply, skills I carry into my tutoring. When I'm not teaching, you'll usually find me exploring new places or picking up a new skill.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and bring hands-on mentoring experience, having volunteered as a Python trainer guiding university students through complex technical concepts. My approach to math is student-centered and focused on taking math out of just academics — I help students see how it applies to everyday life, not just exams. Lessons emphasize building strong fundamentals, developing faster mental calculation skills, and learning to think quickly and confidently with numbers in real-life situations. A typical lesson starts with a quick review of fundamentals, moves into guided practice on the day's topic, and ends with a short problem set to reinforce learning and track progress. What sets me apart is my engineering background, which lets me connect abstract math concepts to practical, real-world applications — helping students judge situations faster and make sense of numbers outside the classroom, not just solve textbook problems. I teach students from middle school through high school, as well as those preparing for the SAT, tailoring my pace and materials to each student's specific goals and current level.
