About Caryn

I’m not only a dedicated tutor but also a proud mom of four wonderful children. Teaching is more than just a job for me — it’s truly my passion. I find immense joy in those "aha" moments when everything clicks for a student and their confidence begins to grow. There’s nothing quite like seeing the light come on and watching a child realize what they’re capable of. I hold degrees from both Johnson & Wales University and Bethune-Cookman College, and I bring a rich blend of experience, patience, and creativity into every lesson. Whether it's helping a child master tricky math concepts, improve their reading skills, or build study habits that work for them, I tailor my approach to fit each student’s individual needs and learning style. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy cooking and crafting — hobbies that I often draw from to make learning fun, relatable, and hands-on. As both a parent and educator, I understand how important it is to find someone who genuinely cares. I’m here to support your child’s academic journey with encouragement, expertise, and heart. I specialize in working with students from kindergarten through sixth grade, meeting them exactly where they are and guiding them step-by-step to greater confidence and understanding.
