About Zara

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Florida. During my 5 years of teaching experience, I've specialized in working with students who struggle with math anxiety. I've completed additional training in different learning styles and use hands-on activities, technology, and real-world applications to make math meaningful. I truly believe that there's no such thing as a "math person" - everyone can succeed with the right support!

About the lesson

Math used to intimidate me too, so I completely understand if you're feeling nervous about numbers! But here's what I've learned in my 5 years of teaching - every single student can master math when it's explained in the right way for them. Whether you're just learning to count, working through multiplication tables, solving your first equations, or even diving into calculus - I'll find the perfect approach that makes everything click for you. We'll tackle arithmetic, fractions, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and college math using fun examples, visual aids, and lots of encouragement. My goal is to turn your "I hate math" into "I actually get this!"
