About Michael
I am a third-year Dean's list math major at the University of Denver. I've taken a wide variety of math classes that includes advanced linear algebra, real analysis, multiple logic classes, and of course differential equations and multivariable calculus. I've spent years of my life mentoring, from volunteering at a Boys & Girls Club when I was 14 to a Mathnasium tutor to a camp counselor and orientation week leader at my university.

My first priority when teaching is establishing a connection with my student. I feel out where their feelings are with the material, and figure out the best way to approach. If I face resistance, it's time to build more rapport with the student; if they're excited to learn, we get right into it. The way I connect with my students gets them excited to learn, and that's where we all operate best.
