My Approach to Tutoring

Teaching Method and Techniques

- I believe that effective learning begins with understanding the student’s current knowledge and objectives. To achieve this, I start with a 40-60 minute free consultation to assess their level and clarify their goals for our lessons. This personalized approach allows me to tailor my teaching to each student's needs and aspirations.

- Before every session, I provide a detailed lesson plan in PDF format, enabling the student to review the foundational theory beforehand. This preparation ensures that our time together is spent effectively building on these basics.

During lessons, I use a structured approach:

- Theoretical foundation: The first half of the session focuses on explaining concepts through an interactive presentation.

- Practical application: The second half is devoted to solving problems, allowing the student to practice and apply their knowledge.
To reinforce learning, I assign brief but impactful homework after each lesson. These tasks, designed to take no more than 30 minutes, provide additional practice and solidify the material covered.

What Sets Me Apart

- As a Stanford University student and a multiple-time winner of various mathematics competitions, I bring both academic excellence and a passion for sharing knowledge. My methodology is built on combining rigorous academic standards with an engaging, interactive teaching style that fosters understanding and confidence in the subject.

Who My Lessons Are For

My tutoring services are tailored to students at various levels:

- High school and college students aiming to improve their performance in mathematics or physics.
- Competitors preparing for mathematics contests.
- Anyone seeking to strengthen their understanding of specific topics or skills in Math-related subjects.

By customizing each lesson to the student’s goals, I strive to make learning an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
