About Apoorva

I recently graduated with my PhD in math and I've been teaching all types of students at all levels, from as young as elementary schoolers to as old as early graduate students.

Teaching and sharing the beauty of math has been a passion of mine for the past decade.

About the lesson

I like my lessons to be a discussion between the student and the teacher. There are no right or wrong answers, only ideas that we will explore together as we work through your thought process.

So many times when I'm working on a math concept or when I'm stuck on a problem I will write out my ideas and what I tried and what didn't work. Just this simple act helped to clarify the problem in my mind and when I did see the solution to it, it made much more sense overall.
