About John
I have been teaching math, physics, and engineering for 16 years.
I have taught hundreds of students, at colleges, high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools.
My students grades start to improve within two to three weeks of tutoring. In many cases they start improving right away, these are situations where the student just needs a couple of hints and simplifications of the theory to understand how he/she can tackle the problems.

I have a Master's degree in electronic physics from the University of Prague in the Czech Republic.
I have taught at different universities in the US and overseas, as well as tutoring school students lately.
I usually associate math, physics, and engineering problems with real life, at the level the student could understand.
Working out drills with the student is essential in my teaching, so that the student won't feel frustrated when solving alone, and knows where to start and is familiar with the process of solving.
Using calculators is fundamental and training the student how to use them efficiently is very important.
I tend to be more logical and convincing in a logical sequencing, with a logical sense of humor.
Basically my students tend to feel the subject is not as hard as they thought, since my style of teaching makes it look easy.
