About Jesus
I have a double major in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from Rutgers University, along with a Master’s in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London. My background includes hands-on experience as an engineer, bringing real-world insights into my tutoring.
I’ve been tutoring since high school and throughout college, helping students tackle tough subjects. My teaching experience spans both the UK and the US, giving me a strong understanding of what students often struggle with. I enjoy finding creative ways to make those challenging concepts understandable.
As someone who learned English as a second language, I understand the difficulties of picking up a new language, and I bring that awareness to my Spanish lessons.
I left the engineering field because I discovered my true passion lies in helping others achieve what they once thought was impossible. Whether it’s Spanish, math, or physics, I’m here to help you truly understand and feel confident in your learning.

In Spanish, while grammar is essential, I prioritize practical conversational skills that are immediately useful. For Physics and Math, I connect concepts to real-world problems, ensuring relevance to the student’s life. My focus is on helping students deeply understand the material, rather than just memorizing steps to solve problems. This approach fosters long-term comprehension and academic success.
