About Alam

Hi! I tutor high school students (grades 11 and 12) in Winnipeg and am currently a student myself, pursuing a joint major in Computer Science and Physics at the University of Manitoba. My natural curiosity drives me to question everything and seek a true understanding of the world—traits I bring into every tutoring session.

Teaching is not just a side job for me; it’s my passion. I love helping students discover the “why” behind concepts, not just the “how.” If you’re curious and want to go beyond memorization to truly understand math and physics, or you just need a patient and enthusiastic guide to help you succeed, I’d be excited to work with you!

About the lesson

Are you curious about how the world works and want to truly understand math and physics, not just memorize formulas? My lessons are designed for students from Grade 6 through university who want to develop a deep, intuitive grasp of the subject.

Inspired by Richard Feynman—Nobel Prize-winning physicist, legendary teacher, and famous for making complex ideas easy to understand—I help you build concepts from the ground up. We’ll focus on intuition first, breaking down ideas so you can see the “why” and “how” behind every topic.

In my sessions, I encourage questions—lots of them! I love teaching students who are curious, who want to cross-question, and who are not satisfied until everything makes sense. If you wonder “but why?” or “how does this really work?”—you’ll fit right in. I promise to answer every question in detail, guiding you to true understanding so that you can apply knowledge with confidence.

Whether you need help catching up, want to prepare for exams, or simply hope to satisfy your intellectual curiosity, I’ll tailor lessons to your needs and pace. If you want to learn math and physics the way scientists think about them, I’d love to be your guide.
