About Professor Kathy
I have been teaching math for 19 years. The first 15 years I taught at the high school level, where I taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II w/ Trig. For the last year in the high school, I also taught an online statistics class. Then, for the last four years I have been an adjunct professor at 3 different universities in the suburbs of Chicago teaching core college math classes as well as Math for Teachers, Precalculus, and Finite Math.

I tutor students online for 1 hour. If you have your own content for the time, the session is $25. If you need content provided, the session is $40.
My tutoring strategy is to explain the concept, provide an example or work through and example with you of the different types of problems, then guide you through a problem. After that, have you try problems and ask for assistance and to check.
The best way to understand math is by doing math. It takes practice and hands on application to master.
