About Mia
I am an experienced high school math and science teacher with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. I have four years of full-time teaching experience and eight years of experience tutoring students succeed in math and science.
I believe every student can improve with clear explanations, patient guidance, and consistent practice. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence.
I am familiar with the Ontario Grades 9–12 math and science curriculum, Quebec Secondary 1–5 mathematics, and BC math, science and physics. I look forward to helping you reach your academic goals.

I have taught full-time for four years and have a total of eight years of experience teaching and tutoring high school math and science. I have taught the Ontario Grades 9–12 curriculum and tutor Ontario courses (MHF4U, MCV4U, MDM4U, MCR3U, MPM2D, SPH3U, SPH4U, SNC1W, and SNC2D), Quebec Secondary 1–5 mathematics, and BC math and physics.
My lessons are personalized to each student’s learning style, current level, and goals. I am patient and explain concepts clearly, step by step, so students can build both understanding and confidence.
