About Cindy
I am currently enrolled in the IB program at Victoria Park CI. I am taking HL math, in which, I have obtained the high 90s since grade 10. I have experience in teaching a multitude of kids with different abilities and communication skills. Although most of my teaching experience stems from being a swim instructor, I have had experiences in teaching in the STEM-related field as I have held and organized FIRST robotics events for summer camps in the past.

My flexible approach allows me to structure classes to the individual's needs. I believe that math is not about memorization but rather understanding, thus, I strive to help students to build a strong foundation, propelling them to future success. Much like how I was taught, I will be willing to help a student through their courses and at the same time assess their understanding. For example, many students choose to simply memorize Trigonometric functions, however, provided with strong basic mathematical knowledge, an individual should be able to understand the logic behind such equations.
