About Mackenzie
I tutor math for students from elementary through 8th grade, helping with homework, concepts, and skill-building. I adapt my approach to each student’s learning style, breaking down problems into clear, manageable steps and creating a supportive, encouraging environment. My goal is to help students build confidence, understand key concepts, and feel capable in math.

I emphasize clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and active engagement, creating an encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions and developing both competence and confidence in math.
What sets me apart is my ability to combine strong math knowledge with patience, empathy, and clear communication. I focus on recognizing when students are struggling and adjusting my approach in the moment, making learning manageable and encouraging. My goal is not just to help students complete assignments, but to build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and foster a positive attitude toward math.
