About Arnaldo

My classes are prepared according to each student's learning pace.

I am concerned that the student understands the subject and not only memorize problems resolutions. I also think it is essential to solve problems so that understanding is crystallized.

I use a digitizing tablet to make the best use of the class.

I have more than 20 years of experience teaching math at all levels. From elementary level to preparation for entrance exame.

I also have extensive experience teaching mathematics and finance in undergraduate, MBA, master's and doctoral degrees.

About the lesson

Hi! My name is Arnaldo and I hold a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). I also hold a M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from the same institution. I am a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and I was a visiting researcher at McMaster University (Canada).

I am passionate about mathematics and teaching. One of the most rewarding moments is when I see the student "walking by himself" after having helped him overcome some difficulty.

Furthermore, I intend to show that math can be very fun and exciting.
