I agree that including more student-centered learning improves and boosts learning process and understanding. I have learned that the key aspect of teaching is engaging the students, knowing that they learn best when they are involved.
I always start a lesson by identifying the objectives, determine the need of my students and engage them, instruct and present information, allow students to practice, end the lesson by letting them present the key elements of the lesson and at the end evaluating their learning and understanding.
As an education professional, I'm patient and have the ability to run the session smoothly. I always give my students praise, emphasize their strong points and encourage them to challenge themselves.
I teach Geometry, Algebra, Calculus and Trigonometry for all middle school classes and high school.
