I am a former engineer with the IT department of General Motors. I've tutored math for a couple of years in the middle school system. I tutored about 10 students. My student felt better about math following my tutoring.

My approach is learning the subject well, present it to the student in the best communicative means, have the student repeat what I've done. My approach to exercise is the same as story problems. the idea is that the student will solve the problem(s) themselves with me guiding them.
