About Coraima

Hi there! I'm Coraima, and I've been on a journey of teaching and learning for over 15 years now. My passion lies in mathematics, and I specialize in elementary math, middle school math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving. Beyond just teaching equations, I aim to cultivate a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, nurturing critical thinking and problem-solving skills that will serve my students for a lifetime.

Throughout my career, I've had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of students, and for the past 6 years, I've been fortunate to witness their growth and success firsthand. Two of my most cherished students have been with me for this entire journey, and their progress is a testament to the effectiveness of my personalized, adaptable teaching strategies.

In addition to my tutoring work, I've also spent three years running a co-op/homeschool group of 5. This experience has taught me the importance of tailoring my approach to meet each student's unique needs, ensuring that every individual receives the support and guidance they require to excel.

As an educator, my goal is to unlock the mathematical brilliance within each of my students. I strive to create a warm and inviting learning environment where students feel empowered to explore and grow. Whether we're mastering basic arithmetic or tackling complex algebraic equations, I'm here to guide my students every step of the way on their journey to mathematical mastery!
