I graduated with a degree in Mathematics Secondary Education from Penn State University in 2001. My first tutoring experiences started while I was still in high school and continued throughout college. I started tutoring full time over 10 years ago.

I prefer to show my students how to truly think mathematically. So much of math is using common sense and knowing what the question is actually asking. I also drill students on how to use a calculator minimally, because many colleges outlaw the use of calculators in calculus. So you better know how to do the calculations without technology.

Please note that I am not a high school or college student doing this on the side. I have years of experience and a degree in math. You are getting what you paid for.
I might need to charge more if I am travelling a decent amount to get to you. I am lenient with cancellations if it is an emergency. Just realize that my time is valuable. If you're a no-show, or give little to no notice, then I will charge you for an hour's session.
