I am a Kinesiology student at Hampton University with a strong passion for math and science. I enjoy working with kids and specialize in tutoring 6th–9th grade math. My approach is patient and step-by-step, focusing on worksheets, classwork, and building a clear understanding of each topic. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students, adapt to their learning style, and make math less stressful while boosting their confidence.

I tutor 6th–9th grade math with a student-centered approach. My lessons focus on the specific problems, worksheets, and topics students are covering in class, so everything we do is directly relevant. A typical session starts with checking in on homework or classwork, then we work through problems together while I explain concepts step by step and build problem-solving confidence.
What sets me apart is that I adapt to each student’s learning style, simplify difficult concepts, and focus on making math less stressful. My goal is to help students not only get through assignments but also truly understand the material and feel confident in class.
