I am new to tutoring but have a ton of experience working with children and and teens of all ages through my work as a ski instructor. I did, however, provide extra help and homework assistance to economics students as a Teaching Assistant. My experience in math is focused on but not limited to: algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, and advanced/applied calculus. I have a very flexible schedule and can meet at home or at school/library. I am also willing and able to work with the local schools and teachers to be familiar with your curriculum and syllabus.
As a graduate student at the School of Mines, I provided extra help and homework help to both undergraduate and graduate students in Economics. I also have experience as a ski instructor for ages 7 to 17. My PSIA children's certification has also provided me with specialization in teaching children.
This certification process allowed me to learn the child development, teaching models, and the CAP Model.
Price can vary depending on level of instruction and travel.
